Brickhouse Inn

The Delaware room was lovely, and the romance package made our anniversary stay feel extra special. It was put together with a lot of care and attention to detail. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Thanks for such a nice stay, we'll be making future reservations.

We booked a private battlefield tour through the website, and it was awesome. Breakfast was delicious too, so order it. We had a lovely meal out on the patio. Checking in was super easy, and the location worked well: about five blocks to town and three or so to the cemetery. We were there for two nights with another couple, and everyone had a great time.

The bathroom needs attention. Its light fixture had no bulb, and the fan was noisy. Apart from that, it's a beautiful hotel, and the staff were wonderful and so helpful. I loved our stay, and I'd definitely come back. I also think this room is haunted and would do the night ghost hunt again. Thanks, Brickhouse, for making my Gettysburg trip memorable.

The New England room worked well for four guests, and the brick house is in a central spot where you can walk to everything downtown. We were told about a complimentary happy hour, but it turns out that's only offered during certain months. The manager could've explained the breakfast location and layout of the shared spaces better. We had to guess and wander around to find what we needed. There was a trundle bed, but no pillow or blanket for it, so I had to ask. Those should've been in the room when we arrived. If I hadn't checked before dinner, we would've returned at bedtime to find the manager gone or asleep and no bedding.
