The room itself was okay, though the AC kept starting and stopping loudly and waking us up. Getting there was rough. We arrived just before 11pm, but the office was locked and empty. The sign said to call a number, and nobody answered despite several tries. We waited about 15 minutes alongside another man who'd been there longer. Just as we were about to leave, someone finally arrived after being dropped off. There weren't any rooms ready, so we had to wait again. Then the concrete stairs up to our room looked like they might collapse, with no warning tape. The next staircase was in even worse shape, with crumbled steps, so we risked the first one. Luckily it held up.

The woman working there was kind and clearly puts effort into keeping the place going. I enjoyed chatting with her, but I wouldn't stay again. The rooms are dated and in bad shape, the beds are rock hard, and the carpet is stained everywhere. The shower was clean and nice, though. Not a nice place to stay.

04/03/2025. I called from Tushka, where there are other hotels, and was told they had rooms. I said I'd arrive in 25 minutes. When I got there, the man I'd spoken to and the woman at the desk both said there were no clean rooms. She said she hadn't had a break or lunch and that cleaning one would take an hour. It was around 10pm, about 11 hours after the 11am checkout, and they'd had 25 minutes' notice. The place usually isn't busy, and there were only a few cars in the lot. I've stayed before. It's not great, but it's not bad for a place to rest. I travel for work and try to support small towns and businesses, so it's sad to see a business being run down like this. They lost my business, and another family that arrived right after me. It doesn't look like they get much business anyway.

Management is friendly and helpful, and it's a quiet, safe place. There's a diner next door, though not much else to look around at. Being right by the road can mean some noise, but nothing too bad. The rooms are good and clean. Housekeeping used to change the towels daily and make the bed every other day, and she does laundry too, which is a bonus. Update: I stayed almost three weeks, and now they clean every three or four days. The price went up by about 100 dollars a week without any notice. The internet is slow and the cable cuts in and out, but they try to help when it does. Overall it's alright. I keep the rating at 4 because housekeeping does a good job and washes laundry. The original price for a very good 243 night was 58, very economical.

I was driving late, outside service hours, and stressed about finding somewhere to park in a dark, unfamiliar area. This place was hard to spot, but I found it. The price was really good, parking was convenient, and the room was comfortable enough. The restaurant next door had a great breakfast. The room felt average, but for the value it was five stars to me. I was really glad I found it.
