The INN at Gig Harbor

It was quiet, and the room was really comfortable. The hotel is close to the highway for convenience, but far enough away to avoid the noise and congestion. Check-in was quick and easy, everyone was friendly, and breakfast tasted good. I only stayed one night at The Inn at Gig Harbor, but it was an enjoyable one. I'd happily return.

We came to town for a movie at the Galaxy Imax theater. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the front desk staff were helpful and friendly when we arrived. Breakfast was fair, while the coffee was good.

We've used the Kitsap Airporter Shuttle from the Inn for SeaTac flights before, but had never stayed overnight. For our 4:00am ride on 10/31/2025, we stayed at the Inn the night before and left our car there for the five days we were away. Three days of parking were free with the overnight stay. We checked in at 7:00pm on 10/30/2025, and Heidi greeted us warmly, showed us where to park, and helped us pick breakfast items to take back to our room for before dawn. She even baked a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies. Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, just what we needed before a trip. The Kitsap Airporter was on time the next morning, and our car was fine when we got back on 11/4/2025. We were very pleased with the stay.

I wish I could give this no stars. We stayed for a weekend in August 2025, and the staff were rude during our visit. Their handling of what happened afterward was unprofessional too. We accidentally left a necklace in the room. When we called, we were told it had been found and asked to mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope so they could return it. We did, then waited. More than a week later, they said they hadn't received it. A few days after that, they confirmed it had arrived and said they'd mail the necklace soon. We kept waiting. On another call, we were told it hadn't gone out yet but would be sent that day. Another week passed, and after we called AGAIN, they again said it would be mailed. Then the cleaning staff manager called to say the necklace had been found and put on a cleaning cart, where it later "disappeared"; she thought it had been "thrown away." We asked them to resolve this and were told she'd need to speak with her manager. After several more calls, we were repeatedly told the manager wasn't there and to call back. When we finally reached that manager's manager, we heard the employee who found it "had abruptly quit." They said they'd consult the general manager about what to do and asked us to send pictures and the item's cost. They promised to take care of it, but as of this posting, we haven't heard back. We won't stay here or recommend it. They don't care about guests or keep their promises. The rooms, breakfast, property, and staff attitudes were horrible too. UPDATE 11/2/2025: Four weeks after I posted this, and three weeks after The Inn "owner" said they'd contact me, there's still been no word. Dishonesty and unprofessional behavior still seem to be the norm at The Inn.
