Hampton Inn & Suites Phoenix/Gilbert

We picked this Hampton for our 3 day stay because its reviews were so high, even though we had several hotel options. It lived up to them: the staff were friendly and well trained throughout, and the rooms and hallways were clean. The pool was nice, and breakfast was the typical Hampton Inn offering. Our room faced toward the interstate and was noisy. The price also seemed to have gone up recently, likely because spring training was starting. Still, highly recommend!

This was our third visit in the past 2 months, and it's a great hotel. The design and decor are terrific, comfortable, smart, and thoughtfully done. Everything was very clean, parking was easy, and the area felt safe and convenient. The staff are amazing, the pool and hot tub are great, and there's a Fitness Room. Breakfast was excellent every morning. Just one small suggestion: the towels are getting worn and frayed and should be replaced.

The bed was comfortable, but I really rely on decent internet when I stay at a hotel, and the wifi here was painfully slow. The speed was barely 10% of what I get on my phone. I called their service number to ask for faster wifi and paid for premium service ($4.95/day), but a speedtest still showed it slower than my cell phone. With a Hyatt Place and a Home2Suites literally next door, I'd choose somewhere with better wifi. 3 stars for that.

This is our new home away from home. Sol and the whole crew make it worth the extra 15mins of driving. The staff are professional, courteous, and really friendly. Housekeeping is helpful and friendly too, unlike the other location. We've made this our "Go to" spot and will definitely be back often.
