Fairfield Inn by Marriott LaGuardia Airport/Flushing

I stayed a couple of nights and it worked well for what I needed, with no issues and helpful, friendly staff. Breakfast was cool. There was only one side of the bed where I could charge electronics. Parking is limited, though street parking is available, and the police academy across the street takes up a lot of it. Still, a good stay.

There wasn't enough hotel parking, so we had to leave the car on the street. The room was clean but small, and the curtains let light in because they wouldn't close all the way. The TV kept lagging, and the internet didn't work. Breakfast was rough: the room was tiny, though there was enough seating, and I waited almost five minutes for an elevator carrying food back upstairs. My oatmeal went cold. It was the only thing that looked edible, while the sausage sat in liquid. There was one small toaster and a line of people waiting for it. We stayed two nights.

Avoid this place. Our group leader had worked hard to confirm that our travelers under 21 would be allowed to get a room. At check-in, the hotel refused, despite what Marriott had told us. We contacted Marriott corporate, and they again assured us that someone under 21 could check in with a reservation made by an adult. They even called the hotel for us, but the hotel ignored the calls.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Cancel by the stated deadline, because they're REALLY inflexible about refunds when a flight is canceled at the last minute through no fault of the traveler. It feels like they just want to keep people's money.
