Mr. Kenneth made me feel safe and welcome when I arrived for a very late check-in. My room was in good shape, the bed was cozy, and the shower had strong pressure. I had to leave very early, so I grabbed coffee and fruit before boarding the free shuttle. Mr. Rory, the shuttle operator, kept up a light, funny conversation while also giving helpful directions. These two are gems for the LaGuardia Hampton Inn. Thank you, Mr. Kenneth and Mr. Rory, for making the place feel like home. Keep them where guests can meet them, they know how to look after people!

I enjoyed my stay, and the shuttle crew were remarkably efficient. Breakfast staff were kind and accommodating too. Ms. Colleen was quiet but friendly, and made sure diners were comfortable. My only complaint was having just one microwave for the whole hotel.

The shared pool was a welcome extra, and the hotel itself felt clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh, well supplied, and offered plenty of choice. Staff were friendly, and everything went smoothly. The Hampton Inn New York – LaGuardia Airport was convenient for getting to and from the airport and for commuting around the area. A good option if you want an easy, comfortable stay near LGA.

The hotel is handy for LaGuardia, with an airport shuttle, though I wasn’t flying through there. The multilevel parking has no elevator. My room was a decent size, but the furnishings and decor looked dated. There was no fridge, and the shower frame was corroded and peeling. The room barely blocked sound: I heard hallway conversations clearly as well as planes taking off and landing. Planes are expected to be loud, but hallway noise wasn’t acceptable. None of the TV channels worked. As a Gold member, I wasn’t acknowledged as one. I received two bottles of water at check-in, which was disappointing compared with other Hampton Inns where I’ve had water and a snack in a small bag. That felt more professional and welcoming. It’s convenient for the airport, but I wouldn’t stay again.

Edward at the front desk made a big difference, giving us excellent advice on how to get around the city. Our Miami family is especially grateful for his help. The shuttle drivers were courteous and attentive, and the cook kept the breakfast buffet stocked with a good range of food. It was our first New York visit, and check-in was quick and easy. Our room was thoroughly cleaned every day, and the subway station was easy to reach. We had a great first-time experience.
