When I showed the front desk what I'd found, there was no urgency and no real apology for the distress it caused. For a TownePlace Suites, I expected much better cleanliness. Waking up in the middle of the night to bedbugs crawling on the mattress and headboard was disgusting. I turned on the lights and checked the bedding seams, and it was clear the room had a full-blown infestation. That's a major failure in basic hygiene and pest control at a Marriott-branded hotel, not a small oversight. It ruined my trip and put my belongings at risk of getting infested too. This felt like a health violation. I won't return to this location, and anyone thinking of staying should look elsewhere unless they want to bring pests home. The place needs a professional inspection and a serious overhaul of housekeeping.

For $167, I got far more than I expected. I booked a one-bed suite and had a full kitchen, a roomy office area, a luxurious bathroom, and a spacious, comfortable bed. There was also a big window looking out over a pleasant cityscape. Breakfast was a highlight, with quality choices and a clean, orderly lounge. Such a lovely stay, and I'd gladly come back.

Gillette and this TownePlace Suites feel like an oasis along the sparsely settled stretch of I-90 in eastern Wyoming. It was a great deal whether paying with cash or points. The room was comfortable and practical enough for a long-term apartment, and the breakfast was great, with a coffee bar that kept us going. Staff were super friendly and helpful at both check-in and checkout. We didn't get to use the pool, though we saw other guests having a good time in it. A great value all around.

I'm traveling for work as a nurse, and this place suits me perfectly. The rooms are very clean, with walk-in closets, a full fridge, and a complete kitchen that even has a dishwasher. I'm extremely happy with it, and the housekeeping is exceptional. Best place I've stayed anywhere in the country by far.

We slept comfortably, and housekeeping every other day worked well for us. The pool was open, clean, and inviting, and breakfast had a good selection and was wonderful. This TownePlace Suites is neat and clean, with great staff. A very good pick when you're in Gillette, Wyoming.
