Best Western Plus Forest Park Inn

The room was clean and cozy, and the hotel itself looks nice and is clearly well kept. Coming in from the cold November weather to a warm room with the fireplace on was such a treat. We missed the free breakfast, but there’s a big bear diner right across the parking lot. Housekeeping did wake us at 8:30 by knocking and nearly coming in with a key. That was on us for not putting out the do not disturb sign. We’d definitely come back.

We had such a good couple of nights here. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and those pillows were amazing. Honestly, it was some of the best sleep we’ve had in a long time. We needed to add an extra day, and they made that really easy.

The staff were great, parking was good, and the room was a good size, clean, and even had a small balcony. Breakfast was included and pretty good. I appreciated that, since breakfast costs extra at Hilton Garden and staying there costs more, plus it’s less convenient for getting to things. The main downside is that the lobby is in another building. To get breakfast you have to step outside and walk a very short way over, then come back. I usually stay at the Hilton Garden Gilroy, and this was my first time here. It’s not four-star, but I didn’t expect that. I’d stay again.

I was really happy with the room, it was clean, quiet and nice. The front desk staff were friendly, and breakfast in the morning was good. The outlets were close by, which made things convenient.
