Harbor Resort

The marina view from the table in the main room was lovely, and the electric fireplace kept the room warm. We stayed one night in the one-bedroom queen, which had two beds in separate rooms. The motel has been renovated recently, and our room was in good shape, with a walk-in shower, roomy fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. We got there earlier than planned, but the manager let us in since the room was already ready. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Entry is by door code, sent by text a few hours before check-in. The message says it won’t work until 4 pm, though I’m sure they can be flexible if needed. This was a hidden gem on the Washington coast, and I’d gladly stay here again.

We spent a nice part of the stay exploring nearby, with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. We grabbed donuts and ice cream, did some shopping, and walked down to the harbor. The town is charming, and we wished we had more time. Our partial-view harbor king room was modern and comfortable, with a microwave, mini fridge, and ice available for guests. It was incredibly quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the fireplace added a nice bit of ambiance. The shower was hot and had a good shower head. Don was attentive and available whenever we needed anything. Booking and checking in online were easy. We’d definitely return.

I haven’t stayed at Saltwater Inn, but I often stop by the lobby cafe, Saltwater Sips. The marina area has needed a cafe like this for a long time, and they’re doing a great job. The service is friendly, and the espresso and baked goods are excellent. There’s a nice spot to sit and look out at the marina. The property is always clean and well kept. If you’re nearby, stop in for an espresso and pastry. It’s a lovely way to start the day.

Our last visit was cut short by a family emergency, and the Saltwater Inn team went out of their way to accommodate us. They’ve been fantastic every time we’ve stayed. The renovated rooms are great, and we love the marina view. We’ll be back soon.
