Roami at Adagio

Roami @ the current was quiet and felt very private. During our five day stay, we only encountered one neighbor, and the breathtaking view was a highlight. They provided a pack and play for our baby and even brought a highchair without us needing to ask. We had an incredible stay and hope to come back soon!

The view was impeccable, but the building and rooms feel dated, with scuffs and dirt around the interior. The major problem was roaches. We spotted one on the first night and reported it; they said someone would come, but no one showed up for 48 hours. The next day we saw ten more and found roach gel in the cabinets. They’re putting people in units with a roach problem. Someone in our group was allergic, so we had to leave. For the price, the property is overrated and overpriced, even though it’s otherwise decent.

The location is great and the view amazing. We stayed with friends for a few days and enjoyed the place, though it needs more attention to cleaning: there was a lot of hair around the house and on the upstairs glass railing. The couch wasn’t comfortable, and the furniture seemed cheap and out of place. The sound system didn’t work; we were told it had been disconnected so it wouldn’t disturb the neighbors.

I couldn’t sleep because the apartment was dusty and unclean, and I kept sneezing. There were no balcony cushions, so we couldn’t sit outside, and the toaster burns things. The pans were disgusting and burnt too. The “gym” was an absolute joke: no air conditioning, a deathly smell, and such unsanitary conditions that the Sanitation Department wouldn’t approve it for use. It looks nothing like the advertised photos.
