Comfort Suites Youngstown North

The beds were comfortable and the scenery amazing. This place is beautiful and clean, and they really do take care of you. Rooms have a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, Bible, plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and body lotion. There's free parking, Wi-Fi, and all-you-can-eat breakfast, plus a gym. I'm in love with the place and will stay here whenever I'm in Ohio.

Good location, clean hotel, and I didn't see any bugs. Breakfast was good, though there were no boiled eggs, and the coffee was good too. The elevator moves very slowly. Watch out for the bathtub, it's extremely slippery. The shampoo dispenser is on the wrong side, and the tub becomes really risky, so I had to put a towel on the bathroom floor to avoid slipping.

The breakfast was well done, the staff polite, and both the clean room and comfortable bed were a real plus for me since comfortable beds can be hard to find. But I wasn't the only guest who had to go to the front desk because there wasn't enough toilet paper to last one night. I also accidentally left a nice swimsuit hanging in the bathroom, and it never turned up in lost and found. It was nice enough that I would've paid to have it mailed back.

There was a strong marijuana smell in several hallways, and our TV didn't work. We also felt like we had to tiptoe around the whole time. Whenever anyone spoke above a whisper, staff warned us we could be asked to leave if there was another noise complaint. That made for an uncomfortable, disappointing stay. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for families, especially with young kids.
