We went from paying 450 to 550 in a week, with no reason given. When we tried to check out, they were basically trying to make my fiance pay. The room itself was okay, but the service was trash. The people running the place don't check on guests and are rude and hostile. Honestly, I think it needs to be shut down.

No problems at all. The rooms were fine, and the people were really nice.

It's the cheapest motel around, but the rooms aren't clean and have roaches. Losing a room key costs $20, and the people aren't friendly. One of the worst motels out there.

The beds dipped in the middle like a V, and there was no Wi-Fi. The bathroom was gross, and we had to get the manager to fix the TV. The room had no heat, roaches, and peeling paint everywhere. I took pictures. The staff were very rude, and it was nothing like the advertising. I went with my grandbabies for the weekend in January 2024, but it was so disgusting that we stayed only one night because we had nowhere else to go. I called a friend to pick us up as early as she could the next morning.

The new owners have been putting money into upgrades across the facility, and the rooms are modern now. The outside still has that old fashioned motor lodge look, very American Heritage style. I understand the negative posts from before. This feels like a trip back to less stressful times, with the old time travel feel and a modern lifestyle in the room. If that's what you're after, this place is a must.
