The accessible room was quiet, and the vinyl floor was a nice choice for pets. My dogs use pee pads when they aren’t taken outside, so cleanup is easier. The room itself was nice, though the toilet barely flushed and the mattress felt like plywood. I stayed January 2-4 and gave two stars because of the snow clearing. I’m disabled and didn’t know the area, so I hadn’t realized the rooms weren’t reached through covered passageways. The snow was barely shoveled and there was no salt. I had to push my electric wheelchair inside because there were no automatic doors. As I was leaving, housekeeping kindly held a door for me, but my wheels spun on the snow and I slipped out of my chair. At my room, I had to step over a snowbank, and the path was hardly cleared. Getting my bag and two small dogs inside was difficult. I called the desk and had to beg and raise my voice before anyone came to shovel. The desk worker, who had a thick accent I believe was Indian, cleared a path to my car so I could come and go safely, but didn’t properly shovel by my door. Taking the dogs out meant being extra careful. I wish they kept up with snow better in a snowy state.

The people we dealt with were so sweet, helpful, easy to talk to, and accommodating. Our room had plenty of space, a nice layout, and was very clean and smelled good, so we didn’t feel cramped. For the price, this is a fantastic place to stay. We’ll definitely come back.

I wouldn’t stay here again. Nothing felt clean, and the place had a crackhouse vibe. The TV frame was broken, some outlets were partly broken, and the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. There was what looked like bong water or tar smeared across the bathroom floor, so I didn’t feel comfortable showering. It’s a miracle we left without bed bugs or lice. Go somewhere else, even if that means sleeping in your car.

The staff at Motel 6 are friendly and courteous, and the rooms are affordable and decent enough for a solid four stars across the board. In the off-season, they might offer a rate below the advertised price. If you’re in a bind, they’ll work with you.
