What made this stay special was how welcoming and helpful the staff were. They even arranged to ship back things we accidentally left after checkout, which spared us a lot of stress. The cabins were beautiful and cozy, just right for a relaxing getaway, and every meal we had was delicious. I've got nothing but praise for the hospitality, comfort, and food. I can't wait to come back to Sheep Mountain Lodge.

The stuffed animals inside are fascinating, and the atmosphere and views were fantastic. We pulled in with our motorhome to fill up with water, then decided to have lunch. The food and service were both great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a stop, at least for lunch.

We stayed here for our elopement and couldn't be happier. The photos turned out beautiful, and the food was amazing. Our cabin had two beds, plenty of room, a full kitchen, and a dining area. It felt warm, cozy, and rustic, just like the Alaskan mountain cabin you'd picture. The lodge sits in the mountains just off the highway, but still feels secluded and quiet, with breathtaking views. Everyone we dealt with was kind and helpful, which made the stay especially pleasant. It's a gem for an elopement or for anyone who wants to unplug somewhere different and enjoy nature.

Rooms, service, and location were all five stars, one of my best stays in Alaska. I left some belongings in the room, and the staff took the initiative to help ship them to my address. That's the kind of hospitality and kindness you want as a guest.

Our cabin was quaint and just right for our trip. The greenhouse dining area was adorable, and the staff were delightfully kind and matched our wit. Since the location is remote, it worked well for what we wanted, and it was only 15 minutes from the MICA guides, where we had a tour the next day. We wish there'd been more time to enjoy the restaurant, which had just reopened for the season, plus the sauna and hot tub.
