The room was clean and a good size, with a really nice fridge, and breakfast was complimentary, with plenty of food in a clean space. One drawback was the sink height. It was so high that a shorter person couldn't wash their face or brush their teeth comfortably without getting water on themselves. My 81-year-old mother arrived after 13 hours of travel from Europe and wasn't well enough to stay another night with me. At 2 p.m. the front desk said I could cancel for a refund, but by then it was 2:50. I also asked about adding that night to my reservation three weeks later and was told I had no upcoming booking. I understand policies are policies, though I felt one of the requests might have been accommodated. At home I found the reservation, already paid for, so I cancelled it, got that refund, and booked another hotel. Good business here! Aside from that, I really liked the hotel and would recommend it.

Now that my five-night stay is over, a few more things stood out. Breakfast staff were excellent, and the eggs, including made-to-order omelets, were very good. The bar and grill only operate on limited days. There was plenty of parking even when the hotel was full, and getting to and from the local roads was easy. The airport was about 25 minutes away. Before the stay ended, I was already impressed. The staff were friendly and helpful as soon as I arrived, and my deluxe king suite was very spacious. The lounge was a nice place to sit, though there was no food after 8, and it also had a small dining room. Breakfast had lots of choices, plenty of tables, an omelet bar, and a water feature.

While we waited for our room, Caroline at the front desk was courteous and took care of what we needed. Breakfast was warmer, tastier, and had more good choices than I expected. Thanks for a great stay.

Meg at the front desk made a big difference when wedding guests caused noise during our stay. I mentioned it, and she responded quickly, handled it professionally, and got the disruption resolved. The rest of the night was peaceful, and what could have been frustrating turned into a really good experience. She was warm, friendly, and professional from check-in, too. The property was clean and comfortable, just what we needed. We appreciated Meg's care and the quality of the hotel, and we'll definitely stay here again next time we're in town. Management, she's a real asset to the team. Thanks for a wonderful visit.

Longwood Gardens, The White Dog Cafe, Terrain Cafe, a local farm, and the other places we wanted to visit were all easy to reach from here. The property was in wonderful shape, thanks to the front desk staff, maintenance team, and cleaning crew. The sheets were soft, and the lotion smelled good. There's a pool and a basketball court, too. I usually stay at Hilton and hadn't tried a Best Western before, but reviews convinced me to give this one a chance, and I was pleasantly surprised. I'd recommend this location, including to anyone who's never stayed at a Best Western or Best Western Plus.
