Hilltop Moose cabin worked really well for sharing with two couples. We stayed there with good friends in late October, and it was in great shape with some nice recent updates. One bedroom and bathroom are wheelchair accessible, which is hard to find. We sat by the fire pit just off the front porch and watched clouds envelop us one morning. The ladies also enjoyed the great gift shop in Glendale Springs.

The views and quiet nature were enough to keep me happy all day, and the stars at night were beautiful. We found this little piece of heaven on a last-minute escape and stayed in Serenity Cabin. It had a comfy king bed, open layout with a fireplace, couch and chair, Wi-Fi and TV, full kitchen with bar stools and counter, roomy bathroom, nice deck with Adirondack chairs and grill, front porch entry, and an outdoor fire pit. Honestly, I never wanted to leave.

We always feel welcome here, thanks to Robert the manager, and the rooms are consistently very clean. It's our favorite place to stay in the mountains. A restaurant and the Northwest Trading Post on the Blue Ridge Parkway are both within walking distance. The MST trail is right here too, and canoeing is just down the road.

Helpful, nice staff, and the place was very clean and quiet, with rustic mountain cabin decor. Room 17 did have an odd odor. The location just off the Blue Ridge Parkway is great, though it felt a bit pricey for the lack of amenities.

We couldn't get the one-bedroom cabin since it seemed to be the most popular and wasn't available, so we rented the two-bedroom one instead. It was still a good deal, very clean, and comfortable. We loved having a fire in the outdoor pit each night and cooked on the gas grill one evening. We plan to come back!
