Staybridge Suites Denver - Cherry Creek by IHG

The atmosphere was lovely, and there was free breakfast every morning plus a light hot snack and fountain drinks at the meet-and-greet three nights a week. The room felt like a mini one-bedroom apartment with high-end everything, except no oven or in-room washer and dryer. There are free washers and dryers on the first floor, though. Hasan welcomed us on Sunday evening with a smile and a great personality, and was just as pleasant each time we saw him. I’d recommend this spot for out-of-state travelers since it’s close to everything you might be looking for.

A kind woman working as the front manager helped leave me with a positive impression. The rooms were comfortable and clean, though the shared areas needed vacuuming. It’s a convenient location, but the hotel’s immediate surroundings look run down and the street has an abandoned feel. There are a couple of strip clubs nearby, so be aware if you don’t know the area. There are other similarly priced hotels around, and I might compare them next time.

I stayed in room 238 at Staybridge Suites Denver‑Cherry Creek from December 28-30, 2025. One bathroom shower had no hot water because of a maintenance issue. I mentioned it to a staff member during the stay, but it wasn’t recorded, so I had to raise it again at checkout. The billing was more frustrating. I used reward points to book, but my card showed an extra $72.14 and two $50 security deposits for the two nights. Staff said the charges would be removed at checkout. A few days later, they moved from pending to posted transactions. I had to contact the hotel again to ask for a refund, and it still hasn’t been processed or appeared in my account.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, even managing a last-minute change for us. The hotel was modern and clean, with spacious rooms that worked well for toddlers. Parking was plentiful, the amenities matched what was promised, and it was a good value for the area.
