I stay at a lot of different properties, and I always look forward to coming back here. Serafina makes the place feel like home, and her hospitality is next level. She deserves a promotion.

We had a great stay with the kids, and I’d happily come back. The room had comfortable beds and a mini kitchen with a full refrigerator, stovetop, and dishwasher, which made it easy to have what we needed as a family. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. There are lots of nearby options, including Westgate, Tanger Outlets, Cardinals Stadium, restaurants, and shops. Ananda, the manager, and Alan at the front desk were so helpful, from check-in to answering all my questions. The rooms are amazing, and I highly recommend TownePlace Suites.

Nearby places that are described as walkable didn’t feel safe to reach on foot, so I’d probably need to take an Uber. The hotel has little to do for entertainment, and there’s no food or drink available until 5 PM. I came to sunny Arizona in February for spring training, but the hot tub wasn’t working, despite the hotel already having pretty limited amenities. With premium prices for a moderate hotel, I expect the basics to be available. Staff apologized and said they were working on it, but offered nothing to make up for it.

As a GCU parent, this is my favorite place to stay, even though it isn’t the closest hotel to campus. I feel safe here when traveling alone as a woman. The rooms are clean and roomy, with a full fridge and small kitchen. It’s not a resort, but the pool, hot tub, and workout room are adequate. A few restaurants and a Starbucks are an easy walk away, and across the main road there’s a mall, movie theater, and more places to eat and drink.
