Yellowstone River Inn

Christopher was a great server and thanked us for coming to the restaurant. After a long day on the road, the Yellowstone River Inn was a great place to have dinner. My husband ordered the 8 oz sirloin with garlic butter, cooked to a perfect medium rare. I had the Chiefs Salad, which was delicious and came with generous servings of ham, turkey, and cheese, plus lots of lettuce.

We stopped for a quick meal during a very long road trip and were glad we did. The food came quickly, tasted good, and filled us up. Maddie (not sure if i spelled your name right, sorry girl!), our server, was great with customer service and helped us choose what to eat. We really enjoyed the stop.

I've stayed here twice, traveling with my dog, and both times the rooms were clean, everything worked, and the beds were comfortable. I felt completely safe, including when my dog needed to go out several times overnight. There were always truckers asleep or other travelers taking their dogs out. Parking right outside the room made unpacking easy, and check-in, the rooms, and check-out all pleasantly surprised me. The first time I pulled in, I was alone on a road trip and thought, 'oh no, what have I done?' The place sits next to a much newer La Quinta, now Holiday Inn Express, but it turned out to be better than the budget hotels I'd stayed in during the trip. At those more standard places, the fridge or TV didn't work. This little gem is a sleeper. Great place, highly recommend.

I stopped in for a burger and a couple of beers while staying at a hotel across the street. The food was good, the beer was cold, and the service was excellent. There are two sections: one is more of a dining area and works well for families with kids, while the other has a bar and casino games. The bar is livelier, and the friendly bartenders seemed to know everyone.
