Garden Inn & Suites

The husband and wife who run the inn are nice and helpful, and there are lovely views and lots of roses. We’d stayed there three times before because it was close to where we needed to go. Two weeks ago we spent three nights upstairs, then came back for five nights on the first floor. During those stays, the rooms smelled strongly, there was a lot of noise, and the pillows were dirty and old. I got bitten by bed bugs. I asked my husband to let them know, but we didn’t say much since this was our last stay there.

I felt safe there on my own as a woman, and the inn was quiet with easy parking. There are lots of plants around the property, which I loved. I was in town for a friend’s party, and the large room with a kitchenette worked out perfectly at a great price. Everything was clean and working well. My first room smelled of smoke, but after I mentioned it, they moved me to a better one. The front desk staff were kind and even helped me button my dress when I asked. I recommend staying here.

It’s a basic, nice hotel with a big, clean room. Breakfast is included and pretty typical. Conveniently close to the highway.

The hotel looks cute and clean from outside, but the room was another story. Its furniture was old, scratched, and dated. The internet didn’t work, there was a cockroach in the room, and the phone had no dial tone. Breakfast was a joke. Half a star from me.
