Glennville Inn

The staff were very friendly and helpful during my six-week stay. I also got to meet the new owners and General Manager, and they showed exactly the kind of Southern hospitality you’d expect. It’s refreshing to see that they’ve put money into the hotel and remodeled the whole place. On my next trip to Georgia, this is where I’ll stay!

For about $73 for one night in a double-bed room, I thought this was decent value, especially with the free continental breakfast included. The decor was a little dated, but the room was clean and had a microwave, mini-fridge, landline phone, and single-serving coffee maker by the bathroom sink. Everything worked properly. It was relatively quiet and in a decent part of town. I’d give it 4 out of 5 stars.

I went straight to the office for a refund after seeing the room. The sheets were yellowed with age, the bedspread had several holes and tears, the room smelled, and the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed. We needed a place for the night in Glennville, GA, but I’d take my advice and drive to Hinesville for a hotel. You won’t regret it.

A decent enough stop if you’re on a budget and need somewhere quick to get away from relatives 👍🏽. The rooms are spacious, and they have smoking rooms, which most places don’t. Check-in was easy and quick. They came a little early to clean for the 11 am checkout, but I just told them it wasn’t time yet. There aren’t many places in this little town, so this works as a place to rest on the way.
