Best Western Glenview -Chicagoland Inn and Suites

I was able to check in early, which made a big difference to my travel day, and the process went smoothly. The staff were genuinely helpful and supportive throughout my stay. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and it was easy to relax after a long day. The hotel had a welcoming feel, and the service stood out. I'd happily stay here again and recommend Best Western Glenview Inn to anyone visiting the Glenview area.

The rooms are impeccable, the place stays clean, and the coffee is always fresh. Breakfast has a pretty limited selection, but the service is great. The eggs are real, and the sausages are real and properly cooked. It's one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had, and I'd eat here again when I'm in the area. A heads-up if you're using shadow service: call ahead and ask exactly where it stands and at which door. It gets confusing because several services serve the same hotel but different areas, so have some patience.

The room was clean, and checking in with my airline voucher was easy. But the employees were extremely rude. I called eight times before anyone answered so I could request the airport shuttle. When a man finally picked up, I couldn't hear him over the honking at ground transportation at ohare, so I asked him to repeat himself. He yelled at me. I felt so uncomfortable that I paid for an Uber instead. At check-in, the same employee asked what time I wanted the shuttle to take me to the airport. I politely asked how long it took and whether it made stops, since I hadn't ridden it and didn't know if it was shared. He told me, “ma'am I don't have time for your questions, just tell me what time you want to be picked up, they can take you anytime”. I asked for 6:30AM to allow for possible stops. He raised his voice again and said, “No, it has to be 6AM or 7AM, we never leave on the half hour marks”. After being yelled at by the same man on the phone and at check-in, I didn't feel comfortable. The location is good for ohare airport. There was also a crack in the door that let people in the hall see straight into my room, though luckily the bed wasn't visible.

SAMI is a literal KING. He went out of his way to make my stay more comfortable, and I saw him do the same for other guests more than once. His thoughtfulness and work ethic left me inspired. The hotel is lucky to have him, and his service means I'll choose this place again if I'm ever in the area. It's a GREAT deal for the price. The room was clean, and breakfast and coffee in the morning were solid. I was visiting a family member at the hospital, just a 4-minute drive away. As some other reviews mention, most of the staff do the bare minimum, which is honestly acceptable at this price.
