Staybridge Suites Chicago - Glenview by IHG

BE CAREFUL, choose a safer location! I was staying for more than seven days and am a Platinum Elite member. Someone damaged my car in the parking lot. There are clearly cameras outside, but staff told me they have no exterior cameras. That leaves me feeling they welcome you to stay but can’t guarantee the safety of you or your property. I plan to file a lawsuit Monday. Thank you, IHG and Staybridge. If you can’t ensure safety or support your customers, get out of business and leave it to others to do things the right way.

The staff were nice, and the free breakfast was good. The gym was fine for a few days, and the elevator that was working ran well. Laundry was okay too, though one washer stayed out of order all week while the other washer and dryer worked. I was there for a week. The lot is spacious, but trucks and trailers can make finding a spot difficult. For the first two nights, renovation work meant I couldn’t park there, although an alternative was provided. The room felt very old, and cleaning needs work. There’s almost no sound insulation, so you can hear everything. The whole hotel needs renovating.

The room had plenty of space and was well equipped, and the breakfast and snack choices were excellent. The amenities were great too. My family and I had a spotless stay at Staybridge Suits Glenview, thanks in large part to the stellar staff. I’ll definitely stay there next time I’m in town.

Betty at the front desk stood out for the care she gave us. Housekeeping was wonderful, and the kitchen team kept everything refreshed despite working tirelessly. The hotel itself was clean, well run, and well kept, with outstanding amenities and spacious rooms. It was a great stay. I’d gladly recommend it and will definitely come back. Thanks to the Staybridge team!
