The room was very clean, comfortable, and accessible for people with disabilities. The beds were the most comfortable we’d slept on in nine days, and the grounds were well kept, with parking right outside. For the price, the motel itself was a good deal. It’s a cute place with real potential, and I hope our experience was unusual. Unfortunately, full-time residents were drinking with their door wide open and yelling in the parking lot until 2 a.m. That same night, another resident tried to kick in the door next to us over a child running and playing inside. This happened at midnight and led to a shouting match outside our window. The drunken yelling and fighting meant little sleep and left us concerned about safety. When we told the owner, he brushed it off and made excuses, which made me wonder if this happens often. I waited to write this because I wanted to like the motel, but I can’t fully recommend it as a professional reviewer unless the owner takes steps to improve security.

The owner is respected in the community and honest, and people came together to help us get settled safely when we had car trouble. We’re looking forward to our next stop, and this time it’ll be planned. 🤣 It’s a tourist town, so places nearby can cost a bit more, but this spot has good hot showers at a reasonable price. The rooms could use some TLC, though he’s actively fixing them up.

It was clean, but really shabby. The towels were tiny and we only got one. The guy at the desk was very nice.

This motel is very old and wasn’t very clean. The door had a latch for a deadbolt, but there was no actual deadbolt to lock it, and I didn’t feel confident that the little knob lock was enough. The pillows looked older than me, and I was born in the 1960s. Pay a bit more and stay across the street.

For a cheap room with a good bed, this place works. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean, and the owner was friendly and helpful. It’s a good price, and I’d stay again. Just know it’s a budget stay: cinder block walls, an outdated bathtub, cheap chairs, and a door frame that could use a scrub. I wasn’t looking for a resort.
