Table Mountain Inn

For our wedding, we chose Table Mountain Inn as the preferred hotel for guests and held our Welcome Event there the night before. We worked with several people over the year, and Judy, Stephanie, Kevin, and Shanequa were all phenomenal, quick to respond, kind, communicative, and easy to work with. Guests raved about the food and space. The Kokopelli room and adjoining patio were exactly what we wanted. Kaycee was a great bartender, and the second bartender, whose name I can’t recall, was wonderful too. Highly recommend.

We arrived late in the evening after a bad VERBO and were welcomed and accommodated so kindly. The next morning, the restaurant food was fantastic, and the wait staff gave great service too.

The rooms were spacious and clean, with good shower pressure and hot water. Though dated, the room had soft, plentiful sheets, and we liked the little terrace and being able to open the windows for the view and cool air. The beds need an update, though. The pillows were small and lumpy, and the mattress was springy. Our check-in around 11 pm on Friday was unpleasant. The man at the front desk had no personality, barely answered our questions, and seemed bothered by us. Parking was another drawback: the small lot across the street is shared with Woody’s restaurant and has maybe 20 spaces. A couple of times we had to drive around for a few minutes waiting for a spot. We’d stay here again despite those issues.

We stayed in a huge suite and loved the whirlpool tub, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The hotel’s history is fascinating, and the central location and decent price for the convenience made it a great fit. We were in town for a Red Rocks concert, but it would also work well for a visit to Golden.
