The desk guy was really nice, and we got to look at the room before deciding to book it for the night. There are lots of rooms, so I can’t speak for all of them, but ours seemed like somebody’s long-term place. Their name had been on the headboard and lampshade. They’d tried to clean it off, though a white shade doesn’t hide that very well. The bathroom was actually decent, but its light was missing, with wires sticking out of the wall. It has more of a motel feel, and the stairs and walking around are worth considering if you want a first-floor room. Breakfast area was closed when we went, while the lobby seemed pretty put together. The map gives you an idea of the area and how walkable it is. For the price, it was decent, better than some other places, and I’d stay a night again if I needed to. Best of all, I checked the beds and didn’t see any bugs. Maybe I just wasn’t there long enough.

There were bed bugs in my room. They wouldn’t move me to another one or refund me, and the manager refused to discuss it. Employees kept putting me off instead of addressing what happened. They also charged me an extra $20 to check in before 3.

Water came through the bathroom and shower floors, leaving the room smelling bad and the floors extremely wet. The plumbing was a mess. The walls and ceiling were peeling and cracked so badly they looked like they could cave in at any time. And there were bed bugs, bed bugs, bed bugs. They wouldn’t refund me or move me to another room. This hotel needs to be shut down. Do not book here.

Coming off the highway from Michigan, I saw this place and checked in, but the price was high and the room was nasty. I asked for non-smoking, and it made no difference. The bed covers, sheets, and pillowcase had cigarette burn holes all over them. Mice ran around all night, and there’s a big rat that goes from room to room. I need a refund. Shut this place down!
