La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Goodlettsville - Nashville

The location worked well, and I had no trouble getting back after a big downtown concert. The breakfast attendant was friendly, hardworking, and kept the dining area clean. The room itself was very clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows, great AC, and a shower with strong pressure and very hot water. The building has a nice layout and cool pictures and decor, though the jetted tub looked very old. Housekeeping deserves a shout-out. The front desk staff stayed polite and friendly, even though the 3 PM check-in line took about 30 minutes. I’d arrived at 2:50, but was told checking in just 10 minutes early would mean a $60 fee, so I waited. That policy seemed to overwhelm the desk during shift change and frustrate guests. The elevator felt unsafe, so after one ride I used the stairs. I’d stay again for the low rate.

The room was clean and well kept, and the bed was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep after a long day. My dog was made welcome too. They put me on the first floor near the lobby, which made walks and getting settled easy. Check-in was quick, and the front desk was friendly and efficient. When I asked for hot tea, they brought it right away without hesitation. The location just off I-65 is handy for Nashville attractions. For the price, the stay beat my expectations, and I’d come back or recommend it to someone traveling with a pet or looking for an easy, reliable place near Nashville. Thanks to the team for making my visit pleasant.

The workout room was a decent size and had plenty of machines. Breakfast was pretty standard, but staff kept the food clean and stocked. The room was a good deal for the price. The hotel door shuddered when opening and closing, and the elevator was slow, though the stairs were close by. The bottle dispenser at the water fountain didn’t work, and neither did the AC in that room. Otherwise, good.

The main downside was the trucking place behind the hotel on my side. Trucks ran and blew their horns all night, so I didn’t get much sleep. Breakfast was okay, though at 7 am scrambled eggs were the only hot item. The room was clean, the bed comfy, and the shower great. There were plenty of towels, plus full-size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. The TV had lots of channels, and the front desk was friendly. Nice place for a reasonable price, aside from the noise.
