Nichol made us coffee after our fairly long ride to the motel, such lovely hospitality. We also wandered around the property, got suggestions for where to eat, and really enjoyed our stay at the Riverside Ranch. The Western-style motel rooms were roomier than most we stayed in on our vacation. Its location worked well for reaching the different canyons, and we’d definitely consider coming back.

Our hostess made check-in easy, gave us great maps for exploring Bryce Canyon, and even suggested hikes and restaurants with great food nearby. We stayed in our 5th wheel at Site 16, a spacious pull-thru with full hook up. The scenery was beautiful and peaceful, and we rode our bikes down to the river.

The campground was well kept, the bathrooms were clean, and its location worked well for the places we were visiting. The trouble was that the town’s water was contaminated with E. coli. I know the campground couldn’t fix that, but incoming campers should have been told and given the option to cancel. We only had a couple of drinking bottles with us, so we had to find an open store to buy water. The WiFi was also very sketchy. That should be mentioned on the website, since some people need access for work or personal reasons and look for it when booking.

The host went out of her way to make me comfortable. When she heard I was heading out to get a bottle of wine, she even brought a wine glass to my room. The motel is beautiful and has stunning views. The service was extraordinary, top notch. I enjoyed my stay so much that I called to book an extra night, but they were full. My loss!

The property was beautiful and the hostesses were super friendly. We stayed in The Outlaw room, and it was perfect. It made a great home base for Bryce Canyon National Park. Our only regret is not staying more than one night.
