Quality Inn Gordonsville

Dory and Ashley were super friendly and helpful, and the rooms were nice and clean. Our pet-friendly room worked perfectly for us and our fur babies. The location felt very safe, and the beds were comfortable. Highly recommend if you want a clean room, and we'll definitely stay again.

The booking went wrong, and the hotel kept the money from both bookings without doing anything to help. The rooms were smaller than advertised, there was a strange smell coming from the room next door, and breakfast was very basic with nothing warm. I'll be back in the area in a few months, but I'd rather pay more and stay farther from my destination than return here. Their response only reinforced the “not our problem” attitude I experienced in person. They blamed the third party and said to contact them, while the third party said to contact the hotel. What a shame for a chain business.

The room was humid and never felt dry, and we all sweated through the night because the AC was turned up as high as it would go. Towels were stained, the pool was broken, and so was the courtesy bathroom in the lobby. Breakfast food was cold, and the waffle mixes were mislabeled. Don't waste your money on this dump.

I drive a hotshot truck and sleep in 20+ hotels a month, including some pretty awful ones. This isn't one of those. It's clean, comfortable, and budget friendly, somewhere in the middle tier. Don't expect Hilton. People calling it horrible are either spoiled or delusional. The truck parking lot is a great bonus.
