The location is a real plus if you're visiting Intercourse, PA. Kitchen Kettle Village and other local shops are close enough to walk to, which is why my husband and I keep choosing the Best Western when we stay overnight in Lancaster, PA. I do have two suggestions. First, guests should be greeted warmly and handled carefully at check-in and check-out. I reserved the room on one card and planned to pay with another, but the new front desk agent authorized the card on file without checking with us first. Jessica stepped in to help and put it right, and I appreciated that, but the initial mistake left me with a sour feeling. Front desk staff should be welcoming and accommodating, and should be patient on the phone when guests have questions about their stay rather than trying to get off the call. Second, it would be good to offer more breakfast choices. Repeat guests may want some variety beyond the same items, even with the breakfast meats rotating.

The farmhouse and barn look gives the hotel a distinctive, beautiful feel. Our group of 43 had 12 rooms, and the whole stay was A+. Check-in, parking, cleanliness, comfort, and even the smell were all great. You can tell the property is cared for with a lot of pride.

Our family of eight had a great week in Lancaster county in one of the two room suites. The suite was just right for us, with a small balcony, and the warm pool was conveniently located across from the front doors. Each day, room service came by to take the trash and replenish the bathroom supplies.

There was plenty to do nearby, and the staff were friendly. The property was very clean, and our one-night anniversary stay turned out even better than I expected. We'll definitely come back.

The breakfast setup was a pleasant change: actual silverware and plates with the continental breakfast, instead of disposable plastic junk. The pool was great and a good size for the hotel. Gary at the front desk was cheerful and welcoming, and the housekeeping team were friendly too, even joking together while they cleaned. Everyone working there seemed happy to be there. The place feels cozy, inviting, and well looked after. Highly recommend!
