The Inn & Spa at Intercourse Village

We stayed in the Harness Suite, and the staff were kind, very personal, and great at suggesting local places to eat. Customer service was incredible. Breakfast at the inn was good. My two complaints are that the bed was very hard and uncomfortable, and a drafty bathroom window left the room cold. A heat lamp would make it perfect.

The Summer House felt like home, and we already miss it. The cozy rooms are nicely decorated, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. Breakfast was a whole experience, with fine china and old music that made it feel like the 1930s or 40s, plus the food was good. The walkway paths between buildings were handy. The heart-shaped jetted tub with candles was romantic, especially with the fireplace flickering in the next room. We started with a relaxing couples massage at the spa next door. Our add-on package also had a “Tonight/Not Tonight” pillow, brownies, a candle, and rose petals on the bed, which made it fun and “romantical.” Kitchen Kettle was a block away, as was Barry’s Car Barn, and there was plenty to do nearby. I already recommend this cute inn and hope to come back soon.

Jen & Kim made us feel welcome at breakfast, and the food was amazing. We had such a lovely visit and should plan to stay longer next time. Highly recommend!

Everything we needed was in our clean, comfortable, well-stocked suite, and the check-in booklet made it easy to find any extra information. Before arriving, we'd already received an email with links to a guestbook covering the inn and spa, so there was no uncertainty about the stay. Breakfast is a must: the dining room was lovely, and before the hot meal there was a sideboard of treats and cold breakfast items. The food, decor, and china were all wonderful. The property is beautiful and well kept, with a peaceful path to the fountain and gazebo. Kitchen Kettle Village is just across the road, and other Lancaster County destinations are close by too. The inn and our particular suite had been on my must-stay list for a while, so I'm glad we finally spent several nights here. It was worth the wait, and I'd love to return soon.
