Strictly Moose Luxury Vacation Suites

The owners were welcoming and made us feel at home, and we never heard a peep from the neighboring rooms, which you always seem to hear in a hotel. Our suite was clean and super cute, with a full kitchen and a full-size dresser, so we could unpack instead of living out of suitcases for a few days. The fireplace was a nice surprise. We’ll definitely be back soon and are telling everyone we know to go there.

We stayed for three nights and felt right at home. Al and Kate welcomed all of us like family, and their warmth made the visit especially lovely. The property was tidy and felt safe, and the owners’ hard work really shows. We’ll definitely come back sometime soon.

Stay #2, June 2023: I thought the Carriage House (Room #4) was beautiful, and it ended up being my favorite room here. The exposed wooden beams and industrial-style light fixtures looked great, and the open kitchen and living room made the layout feel spacious. There were AC units in both the bedroom and kitchen for hot weather. Kate and Al were great again. Stay #1, June 2020: We came for a weekend in Gorham to enjoy the mountains, and everything about the stay worked out. The house looked cheerful from outside, with red, white, and blue accents that gave it a vacation feel. Inside was immaculate. The location is excellent, with coffee shops and nice restaurants within walking distance. There’s a full-size fridge, stove, dishwasher, and a good-sized kitchen if you want to cook, plus a Keurig with assorted coffees. The electric fireplace put out heat on a cool morning, and the bedroom AC kept things comfortable. I enjoyed coffee outside in the morning. Al and Kate were pleasant and made us feel at home. We were very happy with the accommodations and planned to return in the fall.

We stayed at Strictly Moose with our two kids, ages 10 and 11, and would happily return on our next White Mountains getaway. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the newly renovated place was spotless, comfortable, and felt like home. The area is fantastic: SAaLT pub is right next door, and some of the best hiking in the state is nearby.
