Super 8 Goshen

Breakfast needs work. Before 9 a.m., there was no milk, bowls, or spoons, and I couldn’t find waffle batter even though it smelled like waffles had been made. The selection was very limited, just waffles and cereal. Still, the room was clean and nicely decorated, with a very comfortable bed, and the bathroom was clean too.

I picked this Super 8 after staying at the one in Ionia, Michigan, but the difference was night and day. That room was clean, freshly painted, and had no mold or dirt. Here, the paint was peeling, the bathroom was moldy, and the carpet, ceilings, tile, and furniture were stained. There were burns in the blankets, too. I can’t recommend Super 8 Goshen.

The people were very helpful, but the shower had no water pressure whatsoever. They also need to improve breakfast. Waffles and cereal just don’t cut it.

It’s a $67 Super 8, so I don’t get what people expect when they complain it’s dirty. The beds were clean and the floor was okay, but the walls were gross. We had a black light for our scorpions while we were there for a reptile show. You don’t sleep on the walls, so whatever. No bedbugs or roaches, and that’s five stars to me.
