The staff were exceptional, the restaurant was great, and the bartender was amazing. The bar had a terrific vibe, though after the exceptional wine in the restaurant, it felt like a step down. Nobody’s fault. Our bathroom was huge, renovated, and glitzy, but the water pressure was poor, which seems standard in old buildings. The room had a Keurig with powdered Coffee mate packets, yuck. There was also a large wine fridge, empty but switched on and noisy all night. At $360 a night, why not leave a little milk in it? The last time we paid that much was at Relais Christine in the middle of St. Germain in Paris. The room was hot on a warm night, so we turned on the unit and went to bed. The a/c shut off not long after, and we were boiling for the rest of the night. We’ll visit again, but won’t stay there.

We chose the Orange Inn while attending a wedding at the nearby Glenmere Mansion and were very happy with our choice. It’s a lovely small hotel, comfortable and attentive in its service. The staff were warm and accommodating. I accidentally left behind my diamond earrings, and the manager, Chris, found them personally and kept them safe until I could return. That says a lot about the care and integrity here. Our room was beautifully appointed, with an extremely comfortable bed, a spacious newly renovated marble bathroom, and thoughtful touches throughout. I highly recommend staying here.

We just finished our stay at the Orange Inn Boutique Hotel, and I’m writing this on the way back to the airport because the place deserves a review. We travel a lot for my husband’s job and have stayed in more hotels than we’d like to admit as Platinum Marriott members. I handle the administrative side of his business, so I often work from the room, and a comfortable, functional, nice space really matters to us. He needed to be in Harriman, and we couldn’t find accommodations that suited us. We’re picky, I’ll admit. Then we found this hotel and were shocked in the best way when we walked in. It’s stylish, modern, charming for a small town, peaceful, clean, and thoughtfully designed. You can tell a lot of pride and intention went into every detail. It was a breath of fresh air compared with some of our hotel stays. Thanks for making such a wonderful place for travelers like us. If work brings us back this way, we’ll remember this gem. Highly recommend!

Having the whole hotel to ourselves for our wedding weekend was lovely, and our friends and family are still talking about how beautiful and fun the space was. We rented every room for our wedding block, and management helped throughout the weekend, making guests feel comfortable. There was a mix-up about the decor, but they adapted quickly and made us comfortable. We also rented the lobby for an after-party where we changed into sweats and had pizza, chicken fingers, and drinks. It was cozy, comfortable, and a little luxurious, the best way to finish our wedding night. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfy, and everyone loved exploring the extremely cute town of Goshen. Keep in mind, renting the whole place means taking all the rooms. They’re on the pricier side, but can be shared. Our wedding was big enough that it wasn’t a problem, with the venue at brotherhood winery, 15 minutes away.

The weekend was a smashing hit, and our room was beautiful with all the right special touches. I called to ask about a reservation and the phenomenal service continued right through check-in. Chris, the manager, went above and beyond to help plan a lovely girls’ weekend for my best friend’s 60th. The comfort was beyond, and I felt like I was sleeping in my own beautiful bedroom. It was so clean I did something I NEVER do in a hotel, walked barefoot. The charm mixed with updated modern flair was beautiful, and I could sit in the lobby for hours. Limoncello was on another level, with impeccable food, service, and ambience, soup to nuts. People kept coming and going, and not a chair in the house was empty. Chris was there throughout, greeting guests, shaking hands, and making strangers feel like family. The servers, bartenders, and the one and only Anya at the front desk never stopped working and made everything special, even our morning coffee and tea with a chat by the fireplace. Thanks for a five-star weekend. Can’t wait to visit soon. Kudos to the hotel for hiring such a fabulous, professional staff. They’re the heart of the hotel.
