Holiday Inn Express Holly Springs Raleigh Area by IHG

There's plenty of parking, and the location is handy for shopping and restaurants. The rooms were clean and in good shape, the beds comfortable, and the staff friendly. Breakfast had a good selection too. This is what I expect from a Holiday Inn Express, and I'd stay here again.

IHG has really disappointed me. When I called back on Dec 29, they said the hotel had told them I was fine with everything and only worried about my granddaughter closing the safe. That's completely untrue. I never said things were fine, and I would never have let my six-year-old granddaughter touch a safe. They then said I would have to contact the hotel myself to ask for a partial refund. The hotel staff or management never followed up, even though I was told they would. I had already spent two hours on the phone with IHG, been disconnected during transfers three times, and finally got a case number from the fourth person. They'd told me none of my information was on my club account. When I checked out the next morning with my granddaughter, I asked for a receipt and made sure they hadn't charged me for a safe I hadn't used. Thankfully they hadn't. I had to get her back on time, so I left without discussing it at the front desk, expecting IHG to contact me as promised. This started when I returned to my room on Dec 27 after spending the day with my granddaughter. The bed linens hadn't been changed, neither trash bin was emptied, the floor hadn't been vacuumed, and the coffee pods weren't replenished. I added photos, though I didn't get one of the linens. They hadn't even made the bed. Very, very disappointed.

The room was lovely and clean, the service was great, and breakfast was very good. The location made it easy to get to everything in Holly Springs. The indoor pool was a little cold.

We only needed a real bed because my daughter and I arrived very late while relocating from Long Island, NY to North Carolina. Our apartment, coincidentally across the street, had no furniture yet. The place was new, clean, and amazing. Everything worked, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was included. Kim on overnight, Toni during the day, and Jasmond at night were amazing and made the stay special. We're now here full time, and I hope the hotel stays this nice. I'd recommend it to anyone coming down to see us.
