I drove a loop from Salt Lake City to Tuscaloosa, Alabama for a ‘Tide game, and this hotel is inexpensive. But honestly, the reason I’m writing is the prime rib nearby. Ask someone at the hotel for the name of the little town’s restaurant, T-something’s, I can’t remember exactly. I’m a prime rib guy and order it whenever a restaurant has it. The Big Texan in Amarillo, Tx is my favorite, but this place is a solid number two. Third place is in St James, Mo, and it’s not close. The restaurant is about a four-minute, 1.2-mile trip from the hotel. Don’t judge it by how it looks. Find it, get the prime rib, and enjoy.

The rooms are always very clean, the staff are friendly, and I’ve never had a problem during my stays. I regularly come from Great Britain to visit friends in Gothenberg and am always happy to stay at this motel. Runza restaurant is five minutes down the street and worth a try. I’m happy to recommend the place. Michael Cliffe, Great Britain.

I’ve stayed here twice now and will definitely come back. The room was plenty spacious, with a comfortable bed, and the shower had strong pressure and lots of hot water. The place is clean without that overpowering cleaner smell. The front desk worker was friendly and very accommodating. I didn’t try breakfast, so I can’t comment on it.

The pool was out of service, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work in my room, at least on the second floor. At $104 a night, this place isn’t worth it. There was no hand soap, bottled water, or napkins in the room. The hotel feels old, shabby, damp, and stuffy, with a bad smell. It’s far too run-down for a hotel with the Wyndham name, and it could be the last place you’d want to stay.

The pet fee is $25 per pet, even though the corporate website says $10. Breakfast was a little disappointing, though that was about what I expected for the price. The coffee was fresh and hot. The hotel is right off the 80, and the room was quiet and clean with a comfortable bed, fridge, and microwave. My pups and I both slept soundly, and I felt very safe traveling solo. The staff were super friendly. I’d highly recommend staying here.
