The bathroom ceiling had black mold over the tub, and I think that may be what made me sick. The room smelled of smoke even though it was supposed to be smoke-free. The sheets looked dirty, the carpet seemed like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a year, and there weren’t enough towels or any washcloths. The TV didn’t work, and some lamp bulbs were missing. If it hadn’t been so late, we would have gone somewhere else. This place needs to be shut down.

The room was cold, and the TV didn’t work, though I didn’t personally mind that. There was a nearly exploded can of Bud Lite in the sink, about to rupture in the cold. At least the shower was clean, with soap by the sink and in it, and the bedding was clean enough. The toilet seat was small for the elongated toilet. It’s the cheapest inn in a decent spot in Grafton, and all I needed was somewhere decent to sleep. The rooms could use more attention and repairs, but management was friendly and very honest.

I was in town helping with the harvest and stayed for over three weeks in October. The motel looked a bit unimpressive from the outside, but I was glad to see how much work had been done inside. My room was clean and comfortable, and the staff treated me very well. The manager and her husband made me feel at home. I’m looking forward to coming back next year.

The sink, toilet, and shower all had mildew, and my room smelled horrible. There was a used razor in the shower and some kind of debris in the air conditioning vent. The bed had a stain guard and just a top sheet, with no fitted sheet or blanket. I didn’t get fresh towels or washcloths. There’s no continental breakfast, though after all that, I wouldn’t have eaten it anyway.
