The owners should be ashamed of raising the rate from $53 a night on booking.com to $80. This used to be the cheapest place to stay, and being reasonable and affordable is how the company made money. Now it feels greedy, with prices going up because of the workers staying there. Those workers have families and bills too, and now they have to pay more just to stay somewhere while making a living. This is a two-star hotel charging like a three-star, on par with other Graham hotels that are worth what they cost. It isn’t worth this price. Spend a few extra dollars on a better motel instead. Company workers should look elsewhere. My husband stayed here because of the old rate, which was a blessing. At these unreasonable prices, it’s become a curse. The Holiday Inn or Best Western would be a better choice. Nothing but greed.

We’ve stayed here before, but this visit was awful. The first room they gave us had a broken toilet, and it took two hours after check-in to fix it. They never mopped, so walking barefoot left my feet pitch black, and even a hot shower wouldn’t get them clean. By day three there was barely any hot water, and by day four there was none. On the sixth night, I asked the “manager” at 9 a.m. and she said it would be on within an hour. Later, my dad went to the office and she snapped that she’d told my wife or whatever it was off for the night. We’d been on the phone, and he’d also heard her say by 10 a.m. When I mentioned the WiFi had been bad for two days, she blamed the wind. People aren’t dumb, ma’am. The room’s in a bad area. She asked if we’d entered the password correctly, but our devices had connected automatically on earlier stays. We got one bar and had to go elsewhere for WiFi. They also told us our PS5 had been blocked from the WiFi, so don’t expect to play games here. I’ve got tracking on my mail and will end the stay as soon as my things show delivered. I don’t think I’ll spend money here again. Salt Creek is your best budget bet. We were quoted 375 for a two-bed room the first time and paid that; this time the quote went from 400 to 465. It’s cheaper and cleaner elsewhere.

I’ve stayed in rough places as a broke musician, but this was the worst motel I’ve ever experienced. The room was filthy, the towels and pillowcases were stained, and I had to take a cold shower.

The place does offer daily, weekly, or monthly stays, which I guess is a plus. But the pool was empty, and there was no walk-in shower like the website said. The AC kept the room cool, but never cold, even after sunset. I booked a king bed online and was given a queen room. When I got there, the bed looked like a full, the same size as the one in my apartment. That might be fine for one person, but my boyfriend is a bigger guy and there wasn’t enough room for us to sleep comfortably.

The floor was filthy, there were flies in the room, and I found a dead bug under the sheets. Outside the door sat around a hundred cigarette butts, along with a BBQ grill and a chair. The inside door was badly scratched. This was worse than a roach motel.
