Quality Suites Graham - Burlington South

I only lasted one night, 3/21-3/22, and won’t be back. I paid 191 for what was supposed to be a romantic getaway with a king bed and an in-room jacuzzi, but found bugs in the tub and on the ceiling. The front desk insisted they were water bugs, not roaches. I don’t care what they call them, they were disgusting. The manager was meant to call after I reported it on Sunday, but it was Tuesday and I still hadn’t heard anything. The hotel also smelled of marijuana when you walked in. I don’t know how it has a 98% rating. The way they handled this was very unprofessional.

At $170 a night, these rooms are way too expensive. I stayed two nights and the room smelled like wet garbage. It was hot even with the air conditioning turned all the way down, and everything felt dirty, old, or poorly maintained. Their dog handout says pets have to stay kenneled or in a carrier whenever you’re at the hotel, can’t go into common areas, and can’t be left alone in the room. With those rules, I couldn’t use any of the amenities they supposedly offer.

I loved my stay. The bed felt like one in a five-star hotel, and the room and bathroom were really clean. They’d even left a laundry bag, and the closet had a working iron and full-size ironing board. Booking and checking in were quick and easy, and the front desk staff were professional.

The cleanliness was great, and that’s about it. The manager was extremely rude and wouldn’t hear me out, just went by his own opinion.
