Inn on Lake Granbury a Boutique Hotel

Breakfast was chef’s choice and outstanding both mornings. There was fresh fruit, sausage links, green chile cheese grits, stuffed vanilla French toast with strawberries and cream cheese, and Tuscan eggs baked in ham shells with tomato, herbs, cheese, and pesto. Another morning had scrambled eggs, mini vanilla pancakes, sausage, and hash brown casserole. We had to leave early, before breakfast normally started, and they kindly served us ahead of time. The lakefront grounds are lovely, with Adirondack chairs, a hammock, bench swing, and a furnished sitting dock. Staff were friendly throughout, including reception, room service, wine and appetizer delivery, and especially the dining room. Our room was spacious and beautiful, with earthy colors, thoughtful decor, a two person jacuzzi tub, and a steam shower. There’s also a comfortable shared living area, coffee and tea, dishes and glassware, a mini fridge with sodas, and a basket of snacks. We can’t wait to return.

We were made to feel like honored guests as soon as we arrived, and Cooper and his staff were wonderful hosts. Five couples stayed at The Inn At Lake Granbury, and the rooms were clean, nicely decorated, and had quality amenities. The grounds and lake views are beautiful. We enjoyed the complimentary evening drinks and hors d’oeuvres, and the breakfasts were outstanding. Highly recommend!

We’ve been coming to Inn on Lake Granbury since 2013, and still think of it as our “Happy Place.” The grounds are immaculate and the view of Lake Granbury is fantastic. Rooms are spotless, professionally decorated, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. My wife and I have traveled a lot, and this feels like a first class, five star property. We also love the free afternoon wine and homemade hors d’oeuvres. You can add their homemade breakfast each morning too. The service is outstanding. If you haven’t visited, treat yourself.

We wanted somewhere to relax and unplug, and this was just right. The team was so friendly, and after check-in they walked us to our room and showed us around the property and its amenities. The room looked exactly like the pictures. Right at 5:00 they brought wine and appetizers, which was wonderful. We’d stay again and tell our friends about it.
