Boarders Inn & Suites by Cobblestone Hotels – Grand Island

I stayed in an extended stay room for 8 months while working, and about 12 other employees from the Mears group stayed there too. The hotel employees made it feel like home and always looked after us. Special thanks to Pam and Riley for taking such good care of me and my coworkers. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I’ll recommend the place to everyone.

This was my second time staying in Grand Island while traveling through Nebraska, and it’s a great place to stop for the night. The hotel is dog friendly and easy to reach from I80. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good.

We had a great stay. The room was kept clean and stocked, and all the staff were polite and professional. Excellent service, thank you very much.

We’ll stop here again on our way back, which says a lot. It was a nice place to break up the trip, even though getting into the hotel parking area was a little inconvenient. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had and there was plenty: fruit cups with peaches and applesauce, waffle and pancake makers, hash browns, and what I think was a thick slice of fried bologna. We got there late, so the sausage and bacon were gone. There were also eggs, biscuits and gravy, along with milk, cereal, juice, coffee, tea, muffins, and bread. The biscuits were rock hard, though, and I wouldn’t recommend those. The ice machine was broken, but the one across the floor worked. All in all, a good experience.
