Springhill Suites By Marriott Grand Island

Our family of six fit comfortably in the two queen suite with a sofa sleeper. It was a trundle bed, with a thick, comfortable upper mattress and a decent lower one, much better than a pull-out sofa. The queen beds were good, the room felt clean and was plenty spacious. Breakfast was free and great. Having two waffle makers was appreciated since some hotels only have one. Staff were friendly and the elevators fast. The pool and workout rooms looked adequate, though we didn’t have time to use them this trip. The hotel is a few miles from the freeway, which wasn’t too bad, and there’s a Starbucks within walking distance if you like espresso.

We loved our one night here. It’s a brand new hotel, tucked away in a quiet spot, but quick to get back on the road. The rooms matched the photos, and the staff were friendly and helpful. As a military family towing a vehicle, it worked perfectly for parking our truck and getting on the interstate in the morning. We could grab a statbucks drink on the way out, too. Restaurants and gas stations are close by. I highly recommend it!

The room was roomy, the bed was comfortable, and I really liked the bathroom, even if the layout felt a little odd. The pool is on the small side, but there’s also a hot tub and a workout center. We were here for my cousin’s funeral, and that night I couldn’t sleep. A staff member, whose name I can’t remember, sat and talked with me for about an hour around midnight. He listened and shared some of his own stories, and was so kind. I’d definitely come back.

Brooke at the front desk really made our girls’ weekend. She was so welcoming, suggested places nearby, and took some great group pictures for us. The hotel had only opened in May, and everything felt great: a heated pool, a really big hot tub, and a nice gym right by the pool. Our room with two queen beds had a walk-in closet, a couch and desk area, and a hot shower with strong pressure. We had a great stay.
