El Palomino Motel

The hotel is in a handy spot near major attractions and transport, and its facilities made a strong impression: a well-equipped fitness center, a rooftop pool, and several dining choices. My room was spotless, nicely furnished, and had a breathtaking skyline view, with thoughtful touches and luxurious amenities that made me feel looked after. From the elegant lobby onward, the staff were warm and professional. They kept checking that I was comfortable and handled my needs with a genuine smile. I had a memorable, luxurious stay and would recommend it.

It’s only a few minutes off 70, and the drive is worth it. The Palomino is a cute, updated, privately owned motel with clean, comfortable, quiet rooms. It has an old-school feel but is very well maintained, and stores and restaurants are an easy walk away. I promise you won’t regret staying here.

We had a great time and would stay again. Our room had a fridge, microwave, and TV, and the staff were nice. The room and bedding were clean, and they came by to clean during our stay. The pool was covered, and we didn’t experience a breakfast service. One drawback was the A/C, which took ages to cool the room once it got hot.

The owners were very nice and helpful, and our stay felt fine and safe, even though the hotel isn’t in the best part of town. The room had some nice personal touches. What really put us off was that the sheets hadn’t been changed before check-in. There was a ton of hair across the bed, so we stripped it the next morning to make sure the sheets were changed after we left.
