Rodeway Inn Grand Junction

The staff were kind, helpful, and polite from the moment we arrived, and every interaction was positive. The king suite was nicer than I expected, with a comfortable bed, a good-sized flat-screen TV, a microwave, and a mini fridge with an ice box. Breakfast was included and decent. The outside is basic, but the subtle lighting, hanging potted plants, and fresh paint give it a nice touch. The office and lounge were clean and comfortable, with warm, inviting decor. I’m definitely staying again.

The staff were friendly and the room was clean, with a nice bed. It wasn’t in the best condition: the door didn’t close tightly, and the fridge didn’t work and smelled a bit. Still, I had a reasonably pleasant stay, about what I expected at this price.

It seemed clean and wasn’t terrible, but it’s pretty much a dive. A local event had pushed occupancy up and prices were very high at all the decent hotels. The bed was much too soft, and the pillows were tiny and too soft. There was no breakfast. I wouldn’t stay here if I had a choice.

The beds were comfortable, and having a microwave and mini-fridge was handy with kids along. The little breakfast area by the main office got crowded in the morning, though. The rooms were clean and thoughtfully set up for a budget stay, better than a few other Rodeway Inns we've used. We had a pleasant visit overall.
