WoodSpring Suites Grand Junction

I’ve been here over a month and have no complaints. They’ll work with you on paying nightly, weekly, or monthly, and dogs are allowed. The other guests are quiet and nice, too. My room has been clean, comfortable, and just right. I’ve stayed in a lot of suites, and this is one of the best. The staff are great. Kenna, one of the cleaning ladies, does an amazing job and is helpful and nice. The manager has been helpful and nice as well. I totally recommend staying here.

A great value for the price, and it’s pretty quiet most of the time. The rooms are clean, and the staff have been super friendly and accommodating. It’s been a great place to stay.

There was literally nobody working at the hotel when I needed to check in. I waited 15 minutes, and the phone provided to call someone didn’t work. A young mother with an infant had nowhere to go and left. Another guest was stranded outside their room because their keys didn’t work and they couldn’t call the hotel directly. Completely inexcusable.

The manager was great, and I’m sure she’d just been put in a bad spot by the overbooking. Still, we were completely let down. We’d booked three weeks earlier to come for a graduation, but at check-in the desk guy only said he’d found our reservation and that a manager would come explain. After about 20 minutes, ten of us were waiting. The manager said there was a problem and that our reservation was now at Motel 6. We went there, but they had no reservation for us. It was college graduation weekend, so everywhere else was either booked or $500 a night. The manager said she’d been told someone had already contacted us, but nobody had, so she had to tell us at the last minute. They screwed us and several other people. Two stars because the manager was great, but I won’t waste my time here again.
