Residence Inn By Marriott Dallas Grand Prairie

I was here for a work trip and had a great stay. The room was clean and new, the staff were nice, and the service was good. It’s a handy spot between Dallas and FW. Breakfast was pretty good for a hotel, with solid coffee choices and things to take with you. I’d definitely stay again.

I’ve stayed here several times over the past few months while traveling to TX, since I wanted to be near DFW and Fort Worth without going too far into Arlington. It’s been a good experience each time. The rooms are clean and ready, and the front desk is welcoming and very helpful. Any issues I’ve had were handled quickly, and nothing serious has come up during my stays. The hotel is also within walking distance of a lot of places. A couple of times, though, testing or maintenance caught me off guard. The fire alarm was going off in the hall but not in my room at first, then it went off there too. Another time, someone was working on the key readers and I didn’t know who was doing it. When I called the front desk, they explained what was happening. They said a letter should have been left under the door, but I’m not sure if it was put there that day or before I checked in and later picked up by housekeeping. It would be good to improve those notices so guests know what’s going on. An email or text could help keep communication clear.

The staff are all so welcoming and accommodating, and everything is spotless. Breakfast is delicious, too. I love this place and wish I could live here!

The common areas and rooms are so clean, the staff are really friendly, and breakfast was great. My one issue is the pet waste outside. It’s a dog friendly hotel, but when owners don’t pick up, the poop can sit there for days. I pointed some out on the sidewalk to the person checking me in, and it was still there days later. Not a nice thing to see when heading out in the morning or coming back at night.
