Staybridge Suites Dallas Grand Prairie by IHG

The rooms were spacious and very clean, and I enjoyed staying at this Staybridge Suites in Grand Prairie. Keylinoy (I think that’s how it’s spelled) did a really thorough job getting my room ready. I’d stay here again, though I’d ask for a different room. My only suggestion is for the room right above the front sitting area. You can hear people talking below the window, and when guests smoke outside, the smell gets into the room. Breakfast smells also drift in, almost like being in the kitchen, which can be annoying if it’s not a smell you enjoy. Adding more soundproofing and an air purifier might help. The location was good, and aside from that room, it was a great stay.

We checked in Thursday and asked for room service Friday. The housekeeper said they’d come the next day, but nobody showed up. The trash cans were full, and the dirty towels were never collected or replaced. The front desk and dining staff gave good service overall, but housekeeping was awful and communication was poor.

The hotel was spacious and great, and breakfast was amazing, with chicken tenders. My only complaint is the pullout bed. My son said it felt very thin and he could feel the springs. Aside from that, I’d absolutely recommend this place for a vacation or business trip. Just go easy on the pullout bed.

I was considering this place for an upcoming trip, but after reading all the replies from a woman named Angel to reviews, we definitely won’t book here. She doesn’t seem to have the patience for the job. It’s customer service, not arguing with customers. Someone at corporate should tell her to step away from the keyboard. Her approach and attitude seem aggressive and arrogant, and could potentially lead to something serious if she keeps it up. I’m also worried about her safety given how things are these days. Hopefully the right people see this and give her some training, including explaining that a bad review isn’t the end of the world. Best of luck, Angel.
