Tru by Hilton Grand Prairie

I keep coming back to Tru by Hilton whenever I'm in town because it's clean, affordable, and reliable. The rooms are comfortable and well-kept, and the breakfast setup makes it easy to get the day started. The service is consistently friendly and helpful, and they make the stay smooth. It's not a five-star hotel, but they treat you like it. That care at a reasonable price makes a real difference, and I always enjoy returning.

I'm here on business right now and have enjoyed the stay. The front desk associates have all been helpful and friendly, making things easy and pleasant. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and comfortable.

My room was at the end of the hall near the road, but I hardly heard any noise. It had a king-size bed, what felt like a new mattress, clean sheets, four comfy pillows, and a nice-sized bathroom with a great shower. The lobby was very clean and modern, and shortly after I checked in, I got a text from the front desk asking if everything was satisfactory. I was here a few weeks ago for a job interview and wanted an affordable place to stay one night. I'd enjoyed a Tru by Hilton in Allen a few years ago, so I expected this would be a good option. It was almost exactly like that location. I arrived a little after 10, and the desk staff greeted me with a smile and got me checked in quickly so I could head upstairs. The location is great, close to Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor, Globe Life, AT&T Stadium, and lots of restaurants. I didn't get up early enough for breakfast, but walking by on my way to check out, I saw what looked like plenty of options, from cereal and oatmeal to waffles. I'd definitely stay here again.

The freeway noise is so loud it feels like you're sleeping outside, and it's likely to keep me awake. The beds are rock hard, there's nowhere to put your clothes, and Wi-Fi costs extra. There's barely enough room for my laptop to work. It's going to be a long three days.
