Grand View Plaza Inn & Suites

The room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. We arrived late after a bad wreck, and the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. They even helped us work out a good rental car situation. I've stayed at tons of hotels and motels, but I've never been treated better. If you're anywhere nearby and need a place to stay, I'd highly suggest coming here. I'll definitely return if I get the chance.

We were too exhausted to keep driving, so we stayed here on Halloween 2025. The woman at check-in was nice and apologized for the $110.00 price including taxes, explaining that a ball game had caused hotels to basically double their prices. The room itself was shabby, with holes in the carpet and peeling paint. The shower looked dirty, though it might have been staining that wouldn't scrub off. The queen bed had purple sheets, which surprised me, but I didn't think much of it, and the bed was okay. At the next hotel, when I undressed, I found insect bites all over me. I'm allergic only to bedbugs and have seen them before, so I'm sure that's what they were. I called to report it, but they seemed unconcerned. The woman I spoke to said it could have been another kind of bug, like spiders. She took my number and said they'd call after checking the room, but nobody ever did. It was a horrible, dingy room that gave me bedbugs. Room 103, to be precise. Do not recommend.

Nothing fancy here, but the rooms were clean and the atmosphere was relaxed. We got stranded for four days because of car trouble, and it was lucky for us that we were stuck at this motel. Ava, Kathy, and Jessica offered help every day, anything they could do. Ava may be one of the kindest people we've ever met.

We use this older motel for one-night football stays, so we don't need anything fancy. The rooms are clean, the beds are good, and the front desk people are really nice. They give you a treat bag when you check in. There's a good steak house close by, The Tyme Out.
