Super 8 by Wyndham Grangeville

***UPDATE*** The employee involved was disciplined, and I was compensated. I’m back to five stars, as I would give any other Super 8. Thank you! The front desk was exceptionally rude, and when I raised it with management, I was made out to be the bad guy. Super 8 is usually my first choice, but not in Grangeville. I said I’d never return, but I’m back to making it my first hotel choice. Five stars.

The pool was the best part of the trip, and it was open long enough for us to swim in the evening and again in the morning. We booked two rooms for our big family, and it was affordable with plenty of space. Breakfast was nothing amazing, but it got us going and saved us the cost of taking the family out. Service was great, and we’ll definitely come back.

The only thing I’d complain about is the coffee. It was basically colored water. The lobby and room were clean, and the woman who checked me in was really nice and accommodating. She gave me a room well away from the pool and the screaming kids.

We had a great stay, and the service was remarkable. It snowed overnight, and I expected to have to clear three inches off our vehicle. Instead, I came out to find that all the cars’ windows had been cleaned off. I’ve never had a hotel show its guests that kind of kindness and care. I’ll stay here again.
